Azkals in must-win mode

IT’S all or nothing when the Philippines and Bangladesh collide today at the close of the Asian Challenge Cup Group A tournament in Yangon, Myanmar.
The 5 p.m. match between the Azkals, who are emerging as a Southeast Asian soccer power, and the former South Asian football champion is a must-win for both squads hoping to book one of two tickets to the main draw of the tournament scheduled next year.
Things look more pressing for the Filipino booters, who entered the four-nation tourney with the highest FIFA world rating of 151 but have only two points to show after successive draws to host Myanmar (1-1) and Palestine (0-0).
Bangladesh is running second behind Palestine, which is on top with four points, with three points after scoring a smashing 2-0 win over the hosts last Wednesday evening.
